Ombudsperson
You can submit your reports through the following methods:

Procedure

The Ombudsperson receives your report through the above-mentioned channels. If you have provided your contact details, you will receive an acknowledgment of receipt as well as a final notification. Your personal data as a whistleblower will be processed by the Ombudsperson with strict confidentiality and under their own responsibility. As a company (datenschutz nord GmbH), we have no access to your data as a whistleblower. The disclosure of the whistleblower's data is only permissible if the whistleblower consents to or directly requests such disclosure, or if the report is abusive. A report is considered abusive if it is intentionally or grossly negligently false. This applies to reports where the abusiveness is obvious. Furthermore, plausibility and coherence are examined. In individual cases, it may be useful to provide the Ombudsperson with contact details to clarify any questions. The Ombudsperson also determines the abusiveness of the report.

In accordance with legal obligations, the Ombudsperson ensures follow-up actions such as:

  • internal investigations
  • fact-finding measures
  • contacting the persons affected by the report
  • concluding the investigation by closing the case or forwarding it to the responsible departments within the company

Our strictly confidential whistleblower system helps us continuously improve our processes. Your reports at ACO will, of course, be treated confidentially, quickly, neutrally, and in a regulated procedure. Your report goes directly to our external ombuds office (datenschutz nord GmbH, Mr. Dominik Bleckmann), which, after an initial review, forwards it to us in an anonymized form.
